The Learning Health System (LHS) Toolkit: A toolkit for knowledge translation and implementation toward more responsive systems of care
January 24th, 2023
A learning health system strives to continually improve outcomes and experience through the application of science, informatics, incentives, and culture, while including patients and their loved ones as active participants and capturing new knowledge as a result of the care and learning process. Taking an interdisciplinary, team-science approach, the Learning Health Systems (LHS) Toolkit aims to empower learning communities who want to learn about, build, or improve a LHS. The toolkit aims to enable knowledge-sharing by providing guidance and tools for developing, implementing, and sustaining Learning Health Systems, helping build more proactive and responsive care systems.
