What does it take to move an evidence-based idea from concept to clinical practice? Using CORIZA, a pediatric acute respiratory tract infection antibiotic stewardship initiative, this session will trace the implementation journey from early planning through launch and refinement. The discussion will highlight how the team built a multidisciplinary coalition, aligned leaders and frontline clinicians, translated evidence into EHR workflows, brought together the project’s clinical, technical, and operational components, and adapted strategies across primary care and emergency settings. Implementation challenges will show how governance, communication, workflow fit, role clarity, and iterative learning helped maintain momentum and move the work forward.
