Studying complexity in health services research: desperately seeking an overdue paradigm shift

This editorial discusses the need for complexity-research-focused methods in healthcare practices. The authors argue that the world is a complex place and the inter-playing factors that affect its communities interact and are interacted with, and because of that, there needs to be more value and implementation of not only theoretical but also empirical approaches that deal with uncertainty. They cite five articles that talk about this topic.
